Announcement of PSC I grant program

The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan is planning to launch the following grant programs for creation and implementation of innovations and new technologies under the Fostering Productive Innovation Project:
«Productive Sector Consortia I: Competence Centers»
The purpose of the Grant Program is to promote cooperation between research institutes, universities, as well as laboratories of scientific and engineering profiles in Kazakhstan and productive sector enterprises for improving the production sectors in the economy.

“Grants for Senior Scientist/Junior Researcher Groups”
The grant program is aimed at stimulating the commercialization of domestic R&D.

The Advanced Technology & Engineering Challenge (A-TEC) is hosted by Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, organized by Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen and Leaguer Group and co-organized by Federation of Shenzhen Industries and other units.
As an international first-class competition, A-TEC is committed to discover, guide and cultivate cutting-edge technologies worldwide. The competition is classified into Innovation Contest and Championship in the form of real-object competition and roadshows, open to any team or corporate from any country.
To be held every two years, the competition aims at gathering high-quality global scientific and technological innovation resources and promoting the transformation of cutting-edge technologies’ application and development and technological academic achievements and results, and aims to become a permanent global brand of innovative scientific and technological competition. The first A-TEC has already been started since Sept. 2019.
This information is sent in order to promote the competition and any eligible project or team is welcome to sign up actively.

The conference "Fostering Innovations: Science and Business Cooperation" is a significant event for presentation of successful commercialization practices of Kazakhstan's scientific achievements.
The event is intended to showcase the successful experience of commercialization of Kazakhstan's scientific accomplishments and demonstrate the effective cooperation with the business community for the progressive development of Kazakhstan's economy.
The Conference will cover topical issues, including a pitching session on commercialization of projects from successful Kazakh scientists, developers of advanced scientific solutions, discussion of highly relevant issues of interaction between science and business, support for innovations as one of the important factors in the development of Kazakhstani science.
Among the participants of the event will be representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the World Bank Country Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, International Science and Commercialization Board, quasi-public sector, private-sector and mass media.
